LEARNING IS A BEGINNING, TEACHING IS A LEGACY FOR THE FUTURE

Knowledge grows when it is shared. Experience gains value when it is passed on. When different perspectives come together, new ideas emerge.

Silmo Istanbul Akademik brings academics, experts, and industry professionals together on a single platform, opening up discussion not only about today’s optical industry but also about its future. From AI-powered optical technologies and digital transformation to next-generation retail, optometry, sustainable production, evolving consumer behavior, and international market dynamics, the topics shaping the future of the industry are explored from diverse perspectives. Silmo Istanbul Akademik is much more than an educational platform. It is a dynamic initiative that supports the intellectual development of the optical industry, strengthens professional connections, and contributes to shaping a shared vision for the future through collective knowledge and insight.
