Silmo Istanbul 2025 The Global Hub of Optical Innovation
Held at Istanbul Expo Center from November 19 to 22, 2025, Silmo Istanbul Optical Fair once again brought together leading local and international representatives of the optical industry, reaffirming its position among the top five optical exhibitions in Europe and the Middle East. Completed with strong attendance, solid commercial engagement, and a highly qualified visitor profile, the fair further strengthened the industry’s global standing.
Silmo Istanbul 2025 welcomed Turkey’s leading domestic manufacturers alongside distributors of globally renowned brands, while reinforcing its international scope with the participation of 42 foreign companies. A total of 120 Turkish companies and 42 international exhibitors met with industry professionals, representing both the local and global dynamics of the optical sector. With the participation of 17 companies from Italy, 4 from France, 6 from South Korea, 13 from China, and exhibitors from Dubai and Russia, the fair offered an international showcase where design, technology, and innovation converged. A wide range of product categories drew strong interest from professionals, including optical frames and sunglasses, ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses, ophthalmic devices, laboratory and workshop equipment, and optical industry machinery.
Over the four-day event, Silmo Istanbul 2025 hosted a total of 15,576 professional visitors, comprising 12,411 national and 3,165 international attendees. Visitors from numerous countries, particularly across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa, engaged in new partnerships, export connections, and high-level business meetings.
